Creative musings on consumption and wellness ...
Artist, writer and free spirit with an interest in food, nutrition, spirituality, sushi, fitness and yoga in no particular order. Creativity knows no boundaries and will not fit easily into preset categories. Instead, the artistic process expands with new mediums and a variety of interests. Painting, drawing and collage give way to writing and blogging about sushi and yoga. At the moment, the written word feels more appropriate for creative expression and sharing. Savoring different foods and discovering great beverage pairings becomes an act of creativity. Learning to use the flow of the breath in yoga inspires a deeper connection to the body and the life force within. Inspiration and passion exist everywhere, awaiting our discovery at any given moment.
I am originally from Southern California but made Chicago my hometown in the late 1990s, right before the turn of the millennium. At that time I decided to quit practicing law to pursue creative interests and live as an artist. Since then, I have created and exhibited artwork, run an independent arts studio, worked in non-profit administration and alternative energy. More recently I researched and mapped land parcels for property tax reporting and verification. For more information on my professional life, please visit my LinkedIn profile.
